Principal's Message for 3/8/26:

Good evening McCardle Community!  This is Principal White calling with a weekly update about some of the important events and happenings going on at McCardle for the week of March 9 - 12.

I hope you remembered to set your clocks forward last night as we are now on Daylight Savings Time.

There will NOT be early dismissal on Tuesday as there is no school for students on Friday.

Wednesday after school, Kona Ice will be on campus with a portion of the proceeds going to our school.  The PTA will meet Wednesday at 5:00 PM in the Staff Lounge.  Please join us as we hold officer elections for next year and we plan events for the Spring.

On Thursday morning, students who have demonstrated McCardle PRIDE during the months of January and February will attend the Fun Works assembly.

Reminder: There is no school for students on Friday.

Our school needs your input to help guide our decision making for the upcoming year.  Last week you received a Climate and Culture survey link and QR code by email for you to complete a brief online survey using a computer, tablet, or your smartphone.  All surveys are strictly confidential and no one at our school will see how you respond so feel free to provide your honest opinions.  If you did not receive the QR code, it can be found on posters at each gate and the front office window.  Watch these posters to see our progress towards meeting the goal of 150 completed family surveys.  Reminder – one survey per student should be completed.  As an additional incentive, each student who returns a Verification Form with a parent’s signature stating they completed the survey will receive 2 McCardle Pride tickets. 

Some upcoming dates that you might want to mark on your calendar include Spring Picture Day on March 19, the School Site Council meeting on March 19, the end of the 3rd Quarter and the Mustang Stampede on March 20, 3rd Quarter Report Cards sent home March 23-27, Family Bingo Night on March 26, the 1st grade field trip to the Planetarium on March 27, and Spring Break which is March 30 – April 6.
